Antec KS282 ?

Just got the Antec KS282 ...very well made. I am waiting for the Abit K7V (have the Duron), and then assemble it all.
Do I have to do anything special to make my old flat faced floppy work. I think it is a Teac (not sure). Just looking, it seems that the fancy front ..and the way it makes contact with the floppy drive on the inside, would require me to do something ...like take something off the front of the drive itself?
Thanks..
Neos (Andrew in AL)😕

Oh heck...not the K7V ...but the KT7. One other question, and I hate to appear dumb ...but does this case have a speaker (that small one that is in my Enlight) ...and is it needed?
Thanks again.

I didn't have to do anything to my floppy....just shoved it up to the front of the case....

And I believe that the case comes with the small PC speaker.

same with me, just align your floppy with the front.. may take a few tries, but should work.

There is a small speaker in the front of the case between the front and the front bevel. Not as effective as my old case, but you can still hear the beeps and blips that occur running old DOS programs/games.

I agree with ride and jebus. Yes, the speaker is there. And unless your floppy is really weird, it should work fine. For a lot of great info on the KT7, go here.

I just set up my comp with the ks282. I have a Teac floppy in it. It should fit fine. I had to install it and push it in until it was nice and snug, and then tighten the screws. Hope this helps!
