The Fusion VFD software displays media playback information it gets from your application. Some applications, like Media Portal, do not provide the playback information of the media files being played, so the VFD is given nothing to show.

I was hoping to have the VFD show information like Time / Date etc even when just in Windows Vista.
 
Just an idea but you might look in this direction.

Again I'm not sure, if you don't get an answer here in a few days maybe you can ask aigo to move this thread to "Periphreals" category. I don't know what percentage of the readers in cases and cooling are like me, I'm sure the majority have a little more rounded grasp. I'm great in the mechanical end of things but when it comes to software and code I'm lost.
 
Like WoodButcher I would imagine there's a program you could use to feed the LCD some information, but I wouldn't know which ones are useful.
