Wow, that's a hot price!

[mutters under breath] I don't need another PSU collecting dust. I don't need another PSU collecting dust. I don't need another PSU collecting dust. I don't need another PSU collecting dust. I don't need another PSU collecting dust. I don't need another PSU collecting dust.

These are made by Delta. 80Plus Bronze, 54 +12v amps.

Excellent PSU for $33. Kinda fugly, though. :p

Mine did come with a cord. A nice 16-gauge one, at that.

one of the reviewers on newegg mentioned a fire. even though the reviewer sounds like a jerk, i gotta believe it happened, otherwise antec can sue the reviewer. no manufacturing line is perfect, but the potential for catching on fire should make this product unacceptable. right?

reviewer didn't mention that he stuck straw into the psu to go with the 'harvest motif' build...

several reviews of catastrophic failures...rare, but there is a pattern if you read back through the reviews.

I'm going to pass on this one.

How does this compare to the Antec Neo Eco 620C that was on sale last weekend?

I'm guessing either will be fine for a mid-range system, but I was just curious.

Both are pretty decent/good quality. The Neo Eco 620 is what I run myself, its based on Seasonic unit and runs pretty damn quiet. I got my Neo eco for like $25-$30 so...couldnt beat that at the time. I have never owned the EA-650 before but Antec's are usually good quality and delta is good. It definitely beats some of the other garbage budget crap out there.

Some people look at a few user reviews off of newegg thinking thats actually credible evidence but it really isnt. Tons of people own them so naturally youre going to hear about more failures with something more owned than another PSU less owned. I cant really speculate though.

^I have a Neo Eco 620C myself and it's terrific. Antec has the best deals on quality PSUs.

Wanna bet that all of those negative reviews on the first few pages were made by the same butthurt idiot?

I have this PSU and it's solid.
