great deal for sure. I picked up one of these for about the same price off Newegg back in February, then the price went back up to $90. Get it while it's hot I'd say!

Not bad. In case anyone's interested, there's a mail-in rebate for the 430W model, making it $34.99 AMIR. There's also a MIR for the 380W version at Buy.com, making it $25.24 AMIR, or $15.24 if you use Google Checkout discount (for new customers only) on top of that.

I see it has the 2x6pin pci-e connectors, but would it be wise to do SLI with this?

Sure, as long as you aren't using super high end cards. The EA500 puts out 34A combined on +12v, FWIW.

Can anyone comment on which of the above Earthwatts, or the $36 BFG, is the quietest at a load of about 200W? Thank you.

Is this much better than an Antec TruePower 430? Thinking about getting one as my psu is a few years old but it seems to be working fine still. Would be more of a precautionary measure...

EarthWatts is pretty quiet. I've never owned that BFG so can't comment.

Probably could SLI up to 8800gts 512meg with it. MAYBE gtx or ultra, but I wouldnt wanna test it. I highly doubt it can run quad SLI.

My earthwatts 500watt makes no noise in my case with stock gts cooler and 5x antec trispeed fans all on Low.
