Antec Earthwatts 380w and 4850

Interested in this too. I have a EA380 powering my sys #1 rig.

IP35-E, E2180 @ 3.2ghz, 2x 75gb raptors, 1x500gb Samsung 500gb. Currently have x1950 Pro. I know the 4670 would be a great fit for me for an upgrade but I'm interested in the 4850, especially prices are really competitive for it right now and could get much better with rebates etc as competition stiffens.

I definitely wouldn't be comfortible with a 380w psu. Why don't you upgrade just to be on the safe side.

Get this power supply and use this code: EMCAKCDAC to make it $38 shipped.

You mean $67.99 shiped and $37.99 after rebate and yes, there is a difference.

I think the 380w should handle that just fine but you are about at the limit. My earthwatts 500 is powering the first system in my sig (e8400@3.7, 4870, etc...) and I know I have some room left but not a whole lot. I would personally watch for a hot deal (like the one linked by waitingfornehalem) and get one of those just so you have more breathing room. Plus you can then upgrade down the road without buying a new psu.

Ah, bummer. It seems that those in other countries often get the shaft on tech prices, especially Aus and India. I'm not sure why considering global shipping is not that bad when you ship in bulk.
