Antec EA380 good enough?

I'm looking to build a new computer and ended up picking up the CM eXtreme Power Duo 600w to power the system but after all the iffy reviews that I see I'm not so sure anymore. I also have an Antec Earthwatts 380 powering my current computer that I could pull for the new system and am curious if that should do the job temporarily until I find a deal on a stronger power source. The main reason why I ask is if the CM is rated @ 30C and the Antec EA380 is rated @50C then realistically the Antec should have a stronger 12v rail(?) Being that the EA380 has dual 17A rails (supposedly 27A combined) and the CM has dual 18A rails (no combined number). It seems like the EA380 is actually better suited for the new system? Here's the system that I'm probably going to build.

CPU: Intel E2140 OC to 2.8-3.2 [will upgrade a Penryn once they become reasonable]
Mobo: Abit I35
Mem: 2x 1gb OCZ gold
Video: MSI 8800gt
HD: Probably WD500 SATA and a Seagate 250 PATA.
Other: 1 DVD burner & maybe a case fan.

Or am I asking too much out of the EA380? I basically want it to run and be stable/reliable but I realize that it'll be out of its efficiency range (and near maxing out) so I intend upon upgrading rather quickly but I just want to get the system together and just wait for a PSU sale. Thanks for any advice!

Some people will say yes, I say no. It will power it most likely, but you SHOULD replace it with a stronger unit as soon as possible. 500w EW should do the trick. Same topic has been on jonnyguru's forum, the plus side of that topic was that IF the earthwatts 380w fails on you, it most likely won't go up in flames, taking other components with it. But if you value the EW 380 you shouldn't let it power your new rig for to long.
