Antec EA 430w still good enough for my new Intel build?

I am thinking about using my current Antec Earthwatts 430w for my new build. Here link for the PSU:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16817371006

New System specs:

Intel E8400
GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P
Asus 9800GT GPU
OCZ 4GB CAS4 DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)
Samsung Spinpoint F1 1 TB
3 to 4 more HD (up to 5 or 6 HDs total)
2 optical drives

Will the EA 430 be enough for the new system? Or do I need to get a new PSU?

I don't know this for a fact but based on reviews and what others have said I think it would work. I'm using an EA 500 to power my rig with the same cpu overclocked to 3.7 and a 4870 which, from what I can tell, uses a fair bit more power than that 9800GT. The only issue I see is the HDD's, I only have two and I don't know how much power each requires to run so once you get to 5 or 6 it may not have enough juice, not to mention enough connectors.

Yep, you're good. I've seen similar parts run on less (an EW380 in fact) for well over a year without fail. My LAN rig is an e8200@3.4 with an 8800GS / 4GB RAM / 2xHD / etc....

I've been using a Earthwatts 380 watt to power an E2200, 8800gtx and 2 hdd's. It worked fine, just at load the psu fan was going full pelt. Saying that the 9800gt would be drawing no where near the power of the 8800, and your psu is slightly more powerfull.

Either way it will survive, if you can't stand the fan noise you could upgrade it later on.
