Antec Cobra ATA cable grounding question

I have the cables mentioned in the title, they have a separate ground cable on one end. Is it necesary to ground those cables? I can't find a place to ground them on my case.

No not necessary. Normal ribbon cables don't need to be grounded. Seems odd, cuz the drive's already grounded thru the molex connector.

If you really want to though, you could prolly just screw the wire down somewhere in the case (like under a mobo standee screw/nut thingy). Or splice it into any of the black cables coming off your PSU.

But anyway.
