Antec case at Best Buy on clearance

Repost I believe, but still potentially valid, especially in areas where people don't generally put their own computers together. I got mine in South Texas. It was the only one there...

SX835II Antec Workstation Tower Case: $54!

This sucker has a 350w Antec PS, 2 80mm fans, 2 front USB ports and 1 front Firewire port. It's not fancy looking, but it would have cost well over $100 to get a similar quality case with all the accessories. Hell, the PS alone is worth $50. If you need a case, check Best Buy, but ask a manager. This one was stored in the back somewhere and the only clue I had was a little sale sign I saw, literally, sitting on the floor behind the cash regsiter. The worker drone immediately said they didn't have one. I pressed on and now have a fine case for my upcoming new puter.

One thing: It's a little big. If you want a small case, this ain't for you.

Then you can add a post to that thread indicating that it is still available in some stores. Then we don't have two active (the other thread has replies through 3/26) threads repeating the same information.

Very considerate post! I just wish our local Best Buy had this one, as I bought the SX835 (regular) for more than that two weeks ago, while others were paying $20 or more less, and the manager wouldn't budge. However, I had credit to use up and this was better than waiting and paying shipping costs elsewhere.

Again, great educational replies for newbies and seniors alike, and keep up the finds for those of us who still think we have money....

Whats nice is if you don't need the psu or fans you can hock them on ebay. I already had a 400w antec. I sold the PSU for 38.00 and the fans for 6.00...
