Antec BP550 or EA650?

Greetings anand,
Due to some problems when moving the rigg in my siggy, the 8pin CPU connector on my lovely SeaSonic broke, and it is now unable to power my board. Since its my fathers fault the damage happened he'll be paying for the replacement. To be fair I want to keep the cost low, specifically 85$ tops after tax and ship. (Since I'm in NJ, 7% sales tax applies, also note rebate means nothing, we're focusing on the amount of money it is going to take to purchase the PSU at this time, not how much we can get back later.)

I've narrowed it down and am between two lovely Antec units, the BP550 and the EA650.

-Modular but less power.

EA650 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817371015
-Not modular, more power.

So Anand, help me decide, which should it be!

Given those two choices, I'd definitely pick the earthwatts. Not only are you getting more useable power, but it's a higher end model than the basiq series. I'm not sure about the 650w model so much as the lower power ones, but the delta and seasonic versions have both been pretty decent from all regards. I've actually put a couple Earthwatts 430D's in some recent builds and they've been solid.

Got a deal going on an Ultra X3 600w with a guy from FS/FT. I'm a sucker for a fully modular unit.

Thanks for the replies though guys.
