I just recevied the same case, it is really nice. The 120mm fans are very quiet. The case is also very easy to work with, removable motherboard tray, forwar facing 3.5" drive mounts, matched face plates, etc. etc.

interesting, but no drive bay door kinda seems lousy. atleast in my experience those drive face plate things are nightmares when you have a slot drive, and other times just a pain. a door would muffle noise better too and without any hassle. plus the doors allow you to lock away power/reset and all other buttons from prying fingers of children/pets etc.

the filter is nice, but considernig its partially bypassed...the point is lost. it just inpeeds airflow in that case. a lot of filter maintenance with little benifit. seems far from perfect, esp at that price.

Ohh, shiny.:D I've been thinking about replacing my good 'ole Enlight EN72xx series case for some time now, and I think this will do nicely. Thanks for pointing this out, and good job on the review, Ralf.:)

Thats the P160!
Im waiting for OCUK to get these in stock, then im getting one, along with a load of other stuff.
Ive seen a couple of other reviews on it, quite long ones(one was 7 pages long), and they all praise it and say its an amazing case.

I have this case a really like it. The only problem I have is that I can not get the temp gauge to switch to C*. It will only stay on F*.

That looks a lot like the super lanboy. Really nice looking case but very tight and difficult to keep the temps down.

I'm assuming you hit the little toggle switch that comes off the cable bundle for the front mount ports?

As seen here:

Actually both the P160 and the Super Lanboy have great ventilation, probably the best I've ever seen. The temps in both cases run very cool.

Well, after installing it, it's definately a good case, but I have a couple of minor complaints. First, you have to be really careful pulling those rubber barbs through for the rear fan; 2 of them broke on me. Secondly, the HD layout leaves little room for error - if you have any PATA->SATA adapters like I do, they won't fit(as a hacky kludge, I have the affected drive sitting backwards in the floppy mount). Lastly, getting the Firewire port wired is difficult, as they give you independant wires for maximum compatibility, instead of a connector, which means you have to plug in 6 wires in a tight spot, which isn't easy when you have small hands. Other than that however, it's definately a nice case, and a worthwhile purchase.:)

On my motherbaord the front panel audio was the worst. The header was almosted butted up against the ports ont he backplane. It took a good 10-15 min and several attempts. I had to result to trimming back the heatshrink tubing to get all the wires in place. It is nice to see all my motherbaord headers used though, audio, USB and Firewire on the Antec P160 and another USB header filled by the USB ports on my fanbus (10 in all backplane and front mounts).

I can't wait for the 4 pin molex to 3 pin fan header converts to come so I can hook the 120mm fans into my fanbus and finish tying off the cables in my case.

There should be a tiny switch at the end of a wire somewhere inside the case that will do this. It looks like a little black square connector but if you look closely its actually a switch.

Well got mine, anybody want any pics of anything. Got a Cannon G3 that just loves taking 1600x1200 photos. ;) :D

On a side note, good thing I don't use firewire. One of the wires is sliced in half about 1 inch behind the top port. I don't think there's any easy way I could go about fixing that or if it's even possible.

If you dont mind, can you take pictures of;
1) The 120mm exhaust outside, and if possible, something i can use for scale, like a ruler, or a can of coke.
2) The 120mm exhaust inside, with scale.
3) A picture of your completed system inside, to get an idea on the amount of space it has inside.
4) A detailed picture of the HD racks, with 1 or 2 drives installed in the upper two rails, with scale.

If you wondering why i asked for the above, its cos im getting the P160 with an AseTek WaterChill kit.
Thanks in advance.

i agree with the rubber part.. i really think antec should revise the use of the rubber barbs.. excellent idea, bad example

*btw, anyone notice the audio cable of antec sonata is mapped differently than regular spots? .. the front Left and Right pin is switched.. (or is it my motherboard? :p)
