Hello everyone. Second post here.
I have a system that I'm planning on upgrade slowly through the following year but the current case that I'm using (Antec 900 first gen) is feeling less than adequate for the current system and I fear it would be even worse for the next one. My first quip with it is that it's a dust magnet, a giant one. I have to de dust my system every other month, It's a PITA.
Second, no grommets for cabble management. I did the best I could the first time I assembled the system. The cables were all neat and tidy and almost following a "single rail" system. It was perfect. But then the upgrades came and it got a mess. And it's a mess.

So I thought about upgrading to a beast of a case like the Cosmos II, but that would cost me an arm and a leg and perhaps a bit to much.
Then i saw the CM690 II Advanced in black and white and I fell in love, and it has all that I wish my 900 had. And it's sober (As I aged up, the need for a sidewindow in the case diminished)

But you are the experts in Noise, Temperatures. I know my 900 has one of the best airflows ever, but the noise and dust is bothering me :(

I have the CM690 II Adv and it's still gathers dust even with the dust filters. But nothing major though. I clean my case twice a year and it's not that filthy inside the case after 6 months.

Great case btw!

Cooling and noise wise, imo this case is doing a fantastic job. It comes with 1x140mm front fan and 1x140mm top fan plus 1x120mm rear fan. I added 1x120mm top fan just to have a better exhaust and my temps are cool as they can be.

A little warning: when I got the case I also added 1x120mm fan on the side panel. The side panel have 2 slots for fans with mesh. When the fan spins it makes this annoying whistling sound, so I simply remove it. Now i'm only running with the front, the 2 top and the rear fan and it's quiet and cool.

I have the CM 690 in an older computer in the house. I've had it for nearly 4 years, and haven't had much of a problem with dust / dirt. Nice case.

I've owned my 690 for just a month and so far it runs cool and quiet. I haven't observed much dust build up either. The included 3 fans seem to doing the job fine and have decided not to add more for time being. Case gets a thumbs up from me.

I've had the case since January and I say the same as above. However, I am able to see visible dust accumulation in the front grill/mesh where the 200 mm fan is after 2 weeks or so. Since I vacuum the house every 10 days or so i just suck the dust out with the vacuum so its not a big issue. I haven't opened up the case to see how much has accumulated inside, so it's difficult to say how much of that dust actually gets inside.
