I have been looking through cases a lot lately, and have noticed some slight differences in reviews for the Antec 900. Say if u go to buy.com and look at their video for the antec 900, the 900 has water cooling holes in the back, but if u look at newegg's pics or anywhere else for the most part, there are no holes. I have also been reading through forums were people said it had the water cooling holes.. and a motherboard tray for better wiring, but it doesn't look like newegg's version has either. Im wondering if there was a revision in it that is hard to find? or what. I understand the antec 1200 is out, but im not getting it mistaken with that. If anyone could spread light on this for me it would be greatly apprieciated. On a side note can the tricooling fans be set up with a fan controller wired to the front of my case.. so i dont have to open it everytime.. or will i have to buy new fans to do that?

Yes there are different revisions to the 900. I bought mine from buy.com and it came with the cooling ports and cut outs on the MB tray. Since Newegg sells so much hardware I'd be surprised if they had the older version without these features in stock. My guess is they just haven't updated their pictures of the case to reflect these changes.

Buy from someone who will tell you for sure what you will get. That generally leaves places like Newegg off the list. At least I've had little luck getting other info than what's on their description page out of them - no way are they gonna go open a box to find out for you... IAC, Amazon beats Newegg on the NH right now. But I think it is safe to assume that places that move boxes like the Egg or Amazon won't have old stock at this late date. Somebody almost always beats Newegg on Antec products. I always check Provantage or Amazon on Antec as well as the price search engines.
The tricools generally lack the std. 3-pin fan connector that most controllers require, but you can get Molex to 3-pin adapter/extension cables inexpensively. Many controllers come with one or two of them, but buy some along with the controller to save on shipping. I think the tricools lack the speed sensor wires too as they are intended to connect directly to the PSU. Personally, I'd dump the tricools and get some medium speed Yates from Petra or some Zalman F3s from your fave reseller. It's your nickel...

Its hard to find the 2 older versions of the 900. If you buy a 900 now it will be the latest version unless you buy it from some unknow store who has had it in stock for the past couple of years.
