Ahhhh. Its back.
Now lets see.
Amazon has it for $99 free ship no tax (also no tax in ca.) No rebate
In Stock.
Ships from and sold by Amazon.com

NE has it for $80 after $40 rebate Free ship
So I pay the tax on $120 or $9.60, equals $89.60 total
They hold my $40 for 6-8 weeks

So, the question is - is it worth the rebate hassle for the $9.40 difference?
Hmmmmmm.

Thnx OP

Heh, yeah

As the prices for everything ratchets downward, I keep buying stuff I have no real need for, but I dont seem to be able to stop myself.
I always thought I had better control than that, but its getting out of hand with these ridiculous bargain basement prices
Virtually free RAM, 640GB WD HDD for $85, E8400 and E8500 for less than I paid for E6300 and E6400, 22lb steel cases for 1/2 price and free shipping, $22 20X DVD burners, and the list goes on and on.
I guess the next step is to give everyone a shopping cart and 15 minutes to see how much stuff they can load up for $5 a run at Fry's or BestBuy

Great deal :)
For those who "want it now" and don't mind a drive, I saw the 900 at Microcenter for $89.99 plus tax. This was in the Cambridge MA store, not sure if their prices are the same in all stores?
Too bad the rebate is Newegg specific !

What's the cable management situation in this case? In looking at reviews from when it came out, the biggest con was that you have to cut your own holes to route cables behind the motherboard tray (a feature that's standard from similarly priced competitors like Cooler Master).

However, I've also read in a few places that the newer models now have holes for cable management. Can anyone confirm this?

That said .. hope you're not in a hurry for that rebate. Still waiting on mine to arrive.

Mine just came
There are two radiused verticle cutouts about 3/4" X 2" on the right side of the mobo tray.
I guess thats what you meant?

Yeah, other sites say it takes forever on Antec rebates
Was yours Newegg based purchase also??

Sheet, knew I shoulda gone with Amazon, but that extra $10 was tempting

Great case for the price, wish there were some rebates on the 1200 though...my rig needs room to grow. :) Also, for anyone considering the 300, I'd definitely go with the 900 for $20 or so more. The 300 doesn't come with any front case fans so that alone is worth the difference in price.

Antec rebates are slow but they definitely come in. I've gotten every one back, including MIR for my PSU and case in my sig.

I can again confirm that Antec rebates take forever, mine took nearly 4 months. There is absolutely no excuse for a rebate taking that long, but at least they are reliable at getting it back to you.

Is the rebate Worth 10 bux and four months of wondering whether you'll get it back? I probably wouldn't. But then again, if you have a Fry's nearby, you wouldn't have to wait the 2-4 days to get it shipped to you either, hassle with shipping back and forth in case it got damaged during shipping or had factory damage, etc. etc.

Just my 2 cents, though.

By the way, a great case with excellent airflow and options. Wire management could still be a little better, and it does get a little tight in there depending on your system.
