Antec 830 and Blue LED lights

Has anyone out here in ATOT land put blue LED lights in this case? I am just wondering if they fit in the front clips that the stock LED lights do. I am not worried about wiring them up just wether or not they will snap in. I wanna repalce the HDD and Power light with blue. CAUSE BLUE RULES.

Replacing your LEDs should be much of a problem since most LEDs are pretty similar in shape and size anyway. Not knowing exactly which LEDs your antec case uses, I would figure that you can find blue ones that would "snap right in"...

Yeah it shouldnt be but these are kinda strange they have a plastic piece that sanps in then the LED sticks out the front. The ones I have looked at are just the light without the plastic piece to hold it in. So if the light itself is too big it wont go in where its suppose to. But hey the ones with wires are only 4 bucks each so I guess I could just buy them and if they dont fit not alot of money lost. But I was just trying to see if anyone has done it with this case in general.

Won't be a problem. In fact, I just replaced the power LED on my Fong Kai 320b with a blue LED from directron . Man, they look sweet!! My wife even likes it!! They just snap right into the plastic clips that hold the LED to the case.
I highly recommend this blue LED.

The size it what worries me they have 3mm and 5 mm but the blue are 5mm only and not sure if it will fit in the slot on the case.

dude, i've got the 1040 case & it def. needs 3mm lights - i bought a 5mm blue & it don't fit!

i've been looking high & low & can't find the 3mm variety in blue. lmk where/if you find any!

They will fit with some modding. You have to carefully drill out the front of the case and then cut down the length of the plastic connecter the led fits into so that the front of the case can still fit on. It took me like 30 minutes of trial and error on this but it is well worth the results. PM with any questions, I should post pics up on this.
