I have this powering my 680SLI. Nvidia says each 680 should be on a 38A Rail. The Antec box says I have four 12V 40A rails.
My question is each of the two six pin connectors powering each 680 on a seperate rail? I know very little about all this. I assume each is on a seperate rail because I have been playing no problem for a couple of days.
I would think if they were both on the same 40A rail something would have gone wrong by now, but in the back of my mind Im worried a bit that bith six pins are the same rail and it's overloading it or something that will mess up my components.
Also, are all six pin connectors 12V rails? My boy lists a 3.5V and two 5V rails in addition to four 12V rails. Is it possible that these smaller V rails uses six pin connectors and one of my cards is woefully underpowered.
Please don't laugh that I spent so much on these cards to not know jack about connecting them properly
