I read the thread over at OCN about this and it seems as if you have to place your own ramsinks on the memory but nothing mentioned about VRM cooling.

How are you cooling your memory and VRM's?

BTW.....the word is inaudible. :)

The red fan is a Silent X fan..

It cools the Vram if you look at the stock heatsink it does nothing for Vram
they got no Air on them at all.

Thats an Option but really not needed unless your volt modding the card.

But people do it with the stock heatsink on it so i donno..

Why bother doing stuff like this when one can by custom GTX 670/680's like ASUS DC II or Gigabyte Windforce 3x. These cards are so silent under load that even the case fans drowns the noise from the GPU fans.

too bad there isn't really any benefit over doing this with the 6xx series compared to aftermarket cooled versions like the Asus DCII. They don't oc much better, if any.

I can't hear my DCII 7970 over case fans OC'd and at load.

Because the heat is still dumped inside the case, and air cooling doesn't come close to water cooling (even if it's a hybrid type setup like this)?

If your heat limited there is your advantage.. If you volt mod the card and heat limited there is your advantage.

Also the fact you can reuse the the Antec 620 / bracket over and over.. when u buy new cards.

And if you want to hit a higher overclock on your cpu.. this also helps.
