I put in anatec 330tt psu and a 2100xp on a westerD 80 gig 8meg cache on an abit kt7a board, when i overclock it post then reboots it over clocked great with my 400 watt generic psu and 1600xp, would the psu do this? i thought antec psu were some of the best? i know its not the ram, mobo, hard drive, vidio card, sound card, nic. could a cracked core on the cpu do this (i thought it wold not run if the core was cracked) it runs great at 133 fsb just not any higher.

what antec psu is it? truepower?

all depends...

what you need to look for is the combined wattage of the 3.3V and 5V rails...

they need to be around 230ish watts...

anything under that... well... your o/c prolly won't be stable...

you can get a fortron 350W for around $38 from directron.com or the allied 450W from newegg for about 43...
