Antec 300 Intake/Exhaust Question

Hey I have a question about the fans for this case.

I have it so the top and the rear are exhausts while the front and side or intake.

Would it be viable if i put the top and rear (maybe the side too) as intake and the front as exhaust?

No. I'd also get rid of the side fan; there's no filter there so it's a dust magnet.

yeah? The fan on the side sits right over the graphics card. still remove it?

I put a filter on my side intake. Problem solved.

Don't know what you are running in the Antec 300 but for my HTPC, I have the bottom front fan intake and the rear fan as exhaust. No side fan, top fan is off and the second front fan is off. My system stay pretty cool and much quieter.

I run the top,back and upper front fans as exhaust.the side and lower front as intake and that works best for keeping the vid cards cool.If you run the upper front as an intake it blows the hot air back into the video cards

Ouch I just received the fan filter I ordered from SVC and its totally bent up and the holes are in terrible shape.

Did it work out for you though? I ended up using a mesh filter from a NZXT case and works awesome.

yea, just had to sand down the holes.

I think it was new. they packaged it in a those thing brown baggy with a little bit of bubble in it. USPS probably put my package on the bottom and bent up the frame of the filter

I am still putting my antec 300 together but plan on running the top and back on exhaust and that is all. I thought about possibly blocking the front top vent off to get more airflow over the bottom exhaust and putting the main drive center of the bottom exhaust. The less dust to pull through, the less cleaning needed.

I dont plan on overclocking. I use my PC as more of a Internet TV than anything. I purchased the model on newegg that comes with the Antec 430 or 480 basiq power supply. I turned it on the other day but couldnt get the hard drive to work, so I RMA'd it.

My case came boxed in the original Antec box.
