Hey guys, the other day I asked if the antec 900 would fit an EVGA 260 GTX card without any clearance issues. Will the same card (EVGA GTX 260) also fit inside an antec 300? I've been comparing the specs on newegg and the 900 seems to be an inch longer or so. Anyone who has real world experience with the antec 300 and long videocards, your comments would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
 
I have that case, want me to measure it? i dont know how long a 4890 is but it fits fine you just loose 1 HDD spot.
 
That would be a huge help. The measurements on the specs pafe for newegg doesnt match the diagram in the pics. What are your overall impressions with using the 300? Easy to work with? Tooless design?
 
ok, just checked newegg and the card I have in mind is 10.5 inches long. If you're checking it would be a huge help just to see if it might fit in that case. Thanks again!
 
The GTX260 will fit in the Antec 300. I have an 8800GTX (10.6" in length) installed in an Antec 300 in the downstairs PC. You won't be able to install a hard disk in one of the slots, but you have 5 additional mounting slots for hard disks.
 
I have a GTX260 in my Antec 300. Depending on the position, it may block 2 drive slots, but you still have 4 HDD bays and you can mount them in 5.25" bays too.
 
It will fit a 11.5" card, i just measured it and my 10.5" 4890 fits with exactly 1" to spare.

Im impressed with the case for the money paid, i got it for $38 CDN on sale.

Easy to work with, no sharp edges i have run into.

I took a look and i think even if you find a card longer than 11.5" you could make it fit, the hdd rack looks easy to cut, 20 seconds with a dremel and i think you could make a 15" card fit.
 
Fyi, my gtx 295 fits so your 260 will definitely fit. It's a little snug, but everything fits fine. If you want I can send you a pic.
