Antec 300 Case for $39.99

Fry's B&M is running the Antec 300 case for $39.99. That is a pretty good deal if you are in the market for a case with good cooling. It does not come with a PSU. Fry's Web site has the case for $59.99 (as does Microcenter and Newegg).

By the way, Fry's also has the Antec 120 mm Tricool fans on sale for $5.99 each. This includes the LED versions and also the versions with double ball bearings. The case includes a 120 mm exhaust fan on the back and a 140 mm exhaust fan on the top of the case. You can add up to two 120 mm intake fans on the front of the case to increase the cooling potential if you are so inclined.

Just saw Microcenter has the Antec 300 on sale for $39.99, so if you do not have a Fry's B&M near, you can go to your local Microcenter and pick one up. I looked on Microcenter's Web site and they are not showing the 300 for the sale price...

EDIT:

I just noticed Microcenter's sale price on the Antec 300 takes effect on 9/1 and runs through 9/14. You should be able to get this sale price on their Web site starting 9/1.

good post rockhound1. My dad bought one at microcenter back when they were $50. Nice but I would have liked it if it came with rubber grommets for the hard drives

Yeah, I don't understand why they didn't use the rubber grommets in this case. They have them in all their other cases. Oh well, I bought the case anyway. Hopefully it will not be an issue.

I went to the concord, CA fry's and they had none left in the front.
There was no mention of the price so I asked a worker about it. He briefly went to the back and picked it up for me.

On a related note, they had the phenom 9850 BE for only 159$.
That was cheaper than both the 9600 and the 9750 phenom's.

Damn really considering getting this. I have a Solo right now but its a tight fit with the water cooling. I think I'll check it out in person before I pull the trigger on this.

BTW, being available at MicroCenter as well makes the deal a whole lot hotter (because you don't have to deal with the Fry's employee's).
