Antec 3 hundred

I have a 3 hundred case, I added 3 fans- 1 on side, 2 in front.
I have the 2 fans it originally came with.

I am going to install my i5 4670k with a zalman 10x optima cooler with 1 pull fan
I do plan to O/c the 4670k

Asus hero board

What is the best optimized setup?

There is no way to answer that. We don't know if you have cables blocking all the front fans, of if the fans even move enough air to be of benefit. You need to give a little more information please.

Normally, you would want your front as intake and the top and/or back as exhaust. The side fan only benefits the gpu and at the same time can cause turbulence in the case, and the only way to know this is to play with the system and take measurements of system temps as you configure your fans.

I would recommend you start with minimal fans and add as necessary.

Case cooling isn't what's holding back your i5-4670K temperatures. The Zalman 10X Optima is far from the best CPU cooler you could put into a 300. And you've most likely not delidded your CPU, so its heat transfer ability is limited by the poor Intel TIM between the CPU and the IHS.

Unless you have a dual graphics card setup, the side fan is relatively pointless, it'll just add decibels. The two front fans are nice to have (with dust filters installed) just to balance the pressure of the case and avoid too much dust buildup.

What should i get instead of the zalman?

Water cooling?

Also I do have some wires blocking the fans, but maybe like 20% of the area.

What kind of OC are you aiming for? Where are you buying from?

Chances are the Zalman would be fine for your needs (i.e. moderate OC that doesn't require you to fiddle around with BIOS settings too much). It's just that IF you need more cooling to achieve the overclock you want, upgrading CPU cooling comes first, and upgrading case cooling comes after.

I just want to O/C a little maybe to 4.1ish.... No i would not want to play with the bios too much. I am a newbie in O/c

In that case the Zalman or a similar one (I'd prefer Hyper 212 Evo or Thermalright True Spirit 120M BW) should do fine
