Antec 182se case and OCZ StealthxStream 600w power supply build question

So i just received both the case and the powersupply and realized that the powersupply has a top mounted exhaust fan and not a rear mount exhaust fan. Is this not going to work with my build where the powersupply is mounted on the bottom of the case? I'm really aggravated right now that i didnt realize this before i bought it!

Someone help me out!

is that counter productive tho? should i just get a new powersupply? im assuming the power supply was meant to be mounted on top of the case?

It doesn't really matter which way the PSU is mounted, functionally speaking. All that matters is the fan is pulling in unrestricted air, meaning mounted with the fan facing the top

ok, ill mount it facing up... all i am saying is the case has a metal barrier about 1 inch from the top of the power supply. kind of restricted airspace imo

Just mount it upside down, there's absolutely no logical and sane reason why you would not. That's the whole point of the bottom air vent on the bottom of the P182 case 😕😕😕.
