T-minus 3 days, looking forward to this. Anyone else thinking about going?

"The launch window is getting closer! The Visitor Center is an excellent place to view the launch, but if you can't make it you may still be able to see the launch from the surrounding area.

The Visitor Center will open at 3:30 am- 2:00 pm to support the launch on Saturday November 11th. Our viewing area features 2 large sets of bleachers, plenty of space for folding chairs and blankets, and we'll be playing audio from Range Control over our PA system. We hope you'll join us!"

And you might get to meet Mr Frog. The World famous Amphibian Astronaut.

Astronaut frog is a meme that features a frog dressed in a space suit. It originated in late 2013, when a frog was captured
hurtling skyward during NASA's LADEE shuttle launch.

Yea I almost went but the uncertainty of a launch and 3 + hour drive and I decided to scrub myself :) It is nice being able to watch at home on the big screen and NASA had some great video coming from Wallops. Feel for the folks who drove all the way down there just to have an aircraft ruin it. Wonder who/what it was. Coast a lot of money to scrub. So next launch window same time tomorrow.

Successful launch. Solar cells deployed and set to be grabbed by the arm Tuesday morning at the ISS. Interesting to note that the Orbital AKA flight control in Dulles Va were mostly young people and at the Johnson Space flight center much older.
