I'm building a budget machine for my wife's parents. Mobo I'm looking at is micro ATX, but the case is ATX. Are they compatible? I did a cursury search, and couldn't find anything. And if you think this is common knowledge, just answer the question, please don't get rude. Look at my machine, and you'll understand why I don't know this.
 
Yes, a microATX board will fit fine in a full ATX case, they are compatible. You couldn't stuff a full sized ATX board in to a microATX case though.
