I would need your help figuring what motherboard to choose for these two parts I already have:
OCZ Gold XTC 2gb ddr2 800mhz, 5-5-5-12
and
Intel core2 E6550 2,33ghz 1333mhz bus speed
For the MB I choose three :
the GA-965P-S3
the GA-P35-DS3R
the Abit IP35-pro
My questions are:
to get the most of my already bought components without overclocking, what motherboard would be best on a price\performance basis (the 965p-ds3 is cheapest, the abit most expensive)?
If I was to overclock, what should I expect with this ram and all three MB? Would I get to 2800ghz on the processor with any MB and without loosening the ram timings?
I would really appreciate your insight on this, since I have the feeling the parts I have do not fit well together...
