I broke the first cardinal rule of posting. Search for previous threads on the same topic. As soon as I hit post, I found an old thread that answered my question. Reseated all the memory and cards a couple times and success!!! Oh well...

Hey guys, new to posting, but been reading the boards for a year.

Background: My roommates mobo crapped out (mom and pop store that we trust verified), so I told him I'd replace it. Have moderate experience with comp hardware, but haven't tried to replace a MB before.

I bought a ECS K7S5A from the local Fry's, and slowly but surely swapped the mobo. Everything fit fine except a power LED that didn't seem to fit on the new board. Oh well.

Hooked up the keyboard, mouse, power and moniter (PCI video).

Powered up, no video. That was one of the many problems of the previous mobo, but thought this would fix it. Both before and after I switched the mobo, I tried switching out the stock PCI video with an old voodoo2 pci card, and both times there was still no video. Also tried switching monitors, still nothing.

Powers up fine, I can hear the HD, PS, and fans going, CD's are working, same with floppy. But still no video.

Was thinking of a few fixes, but was wonderin if you guys can think of something obvious I overlooked. Triple checked all the connections and such, but will double check again just to make sure.

Thanks in advance...
