Hopefully this is easy for you...

I'm trying to change the color of a link.
i've got defined in my body tag link= blah blah, alink = blah blha, vlink = blah blah,
but what i'd really like is lower down the page, have a link that is not blah blah but some other color.

how could i do that? i've tried font color, that doesn't work.
Thanks

add blah blah blah right before the blah blah blah and be sure that it is not after the blah blah blah.

that would work, but i want all the other links in the document to be that color... just this one link needs to be different.

oh i forgot, when you get to the bla bla blah, make sure you don't forget to add this tag <blah blah> thats extremely crucial, so make sure you don't forget it :)

you could use style sheets.

stick this code in head of your html document or in a css file(you can learn how to use these on your own).

<style type=&quot;text/css&quot;>
a.one:link {color: #336633}
a.one:visited {color: #336633}
a.one:hover {color: #336633}
</style>

so for regular links, they're the color you specified in your body tag. To use one of these, you do the following:

<a class=&quot;one&quot; href=&quot;http://www.cnn.com&quot;>www.cnn.com</a>

Get it? Give it a try. Do a search for CSS if you need help or wish to learn more about style sheets.

<< <a href=&quot;/booty&quot;><font color=&quot;blue&quot;>Click Here For Some Serious BooTAY</font></a> >>

Surprisingly, that worked.
i guess order of the tags does matter... i had tried the font color before the a href.

You really want to learn CSS though. Every decent web designer uses it be it globally or locally. :)
