A total of 512MB (two 256 sticks) of memory in a 2 x 32M x 64 configuration means that it is double sided each of the 256 sticks has 128MB on each side that are four 32MC ICs, right?

I'm not sure what the first 2 in your configuration means because I've never seen something like that before (2 sticks maybe?), but from what I understand, 32Mx64 simply means that you have a 256MB module (32 x 64 = 2048 Mbits = 256 Mbytes). From that information, I don't believe there is any way to tell if the RAM has 8 or 16 chips. You would need the chip density for that.

I thought the chip density is one of those numbers 🙁 I bought Corsair memory from newegg (I didn't receive them yet) XMS twin pack 3200C. They have those number on newegg. Any ideas if Corsair always sell double sided memories?

256mb - Chip densities

Single sided with 4 chips = 64mb
Single sided with 8 chips = 32mb
Double sided with 4 chips each side = 32mb
Double sided with 8 chips each side = 16mb

Plus an extra chip per side for ECC where applicable.
