anoying "run" warning in windows xp for network drives

Is there a way to get rid of the "run / cancel" dialog in winxp for when you open certain file types? Some will have a checkbox to let them through but lot of them like .cmd and .exe wont. gets VERY anoying specially since I code off a smb share so every single time I go to test my app in windows I have to click run.
