And I am sorry if you dont see a difference between the public danger in a drunk/high pilot and an illegal hamburger cook.

It isn't paying them intentionally. The ones it is paying are committing tax fraud. Why does anyone get away with tax fraud? Because no system will ever prevent 100% of it.

Why is 20 times this much revenue lost due to wealthy people evading taxes?

No wonder the US is going broke.

Good point, but if somebody makes a million dollars a year and chooses to spend most of it abroad, that doesnt really help the American economy or government either, does it?

I understand rich folks have a tendency to find ways to weasel out of taxes, but much like DRM issue I dont see punishing honest folks as a solution.

Muddle & obfuscate. As I offered earlier, you seem to have no objection to employers effectively acting as law enforcement agents in this realm, but see them being required to do the same wrt employing illegals as "different". But, of course, you maintain that the hiring of illegals is a big problem while refusing to address that in a direct fashion.

No jobs for illegals means there won't be any illegals. The whole border fence song & dance is designed to provide the illusion that it'll stop illegals, when it won't- contractors will probably hire illegals to build it, increasing their profit, pandering to nativist sentiment all the way to the bank.

Right wing politicians & their funders have no intention of stopping illegals, but rather suckering you into voting for them on the basis of their rhetoric on the subject.

They have no intention of cutting deficits, either, because they've already cut revenues faster than they cut expenditures, particularly with tax cuts at the top, and their budget proposals just offer more of the same.

Middle class Righties notice none of that, because they've been conditioned to accept propaganda that goes straight to their emotional natures, bypassing the brain's centers of reason entirely. When those centers are used, it's just to reinforce & defend what they already believe. Reason isn't used to formulate ideas, but merely to defend faith.

I'm sure it all seems perfectly rational from the inside, which leads Moonbeam to claim that Righties' brains are defective. I don't think so, seeing it as an issue of indoctrination & control, of what they've been taught to think & how, but I may be wrong.
