Another Win7 question!

I am currently running Xp Pro 32bit and want to go Win7 64 bit. I play a lot of games and want to contuinue doing so. Should I get win7 pro or win7 ultimate? Seems like a 20 buck difference. I want to got 64 bit and utilize all my ram. Another question, can only win7 pro and win7 ult allow winxp compatability?

Win7 Pro,Ultimate and Enterprise versions for virtual XP mode.

Gaming wise you won't need that since I have yet to find a 32 bit game I can't run in either Vista x64 or Win7 x64 and my list is huge.

Btw more info on virtual XP mode here.

Don't confuse XP compatibility mode (all Vista and Win7 PCs have that)and XP virtual mode(only on Win7 Pro,Ult,Enterprise).

If you aren't aware of it, the virtual XP mode is NOT a gaming compatibility solution. It doesn't support the hardware-based 3D gaming graphics that are needed for most of today's games.

IC, so win7 VM is for, say Office 2003 and the like? So I should be cool with games and such on Win7 Premium?
