This one I have almost nothing to go by.

It's classic rock. The notable thing is a beautiful piano introduction. The thing to note is the piano has a low key hit a little for rhythm, and a fast melody on the high notes.

After a while of that it goes into gravelly vocals, something like the singer of Nazareth.

I remembered and forgot a key lyric - I thought it was "right here, right now" but it's not.

But I can't think of another classic rock song with that low key/high key combo.

Ah found it! After my first googling found two other versions, I looked more and it's the version by Van Halen.
