the reason why u cannot get it at a better price is because djohn is a reseller...his site( www.overclockersbadges.com ) has qualified him to be a reseller of Mushkin ram.

unless u have a store and can buy huge quantities at a time, i'd stick with djohn's deals.

and another thing, not to crap on your thread, djohn will be doing this for the THIRD time. He has experience on how to ship these, and how to take care of all the orders.

just wait for djohn's deal and get 4 from him.

Well, the e-mail was already sent so I will find out soon enough. I am also trying to squeeze in a reseller license also under my fathers business, but I don't know if it will fly. If it turns out his deal is better, I will gladly jump in for his ride as I NEED four sticks of the stuff. I tried all different kinds of memory wasting money, till I finally tested a stick from a friend.

All I could say is 155MHz FSB at 2-2-2 was something no other memory I tested can do.
So I am sold, on that memory and require four sticks of it, but can not pay $194 + shipping for each of those puppies.

Anyway, keep you guys informed tommorrow on mushkins e-mail back too me.

No, Mushkin just had lower memory prices when he did it. They do not anymore and unless memory prices stop going up and start coming down, it will be some time before the $165 can happen.

As it stands, Mushkin gave me a quote of $169 + Shipping as a now authorized reseller. djohn is doing it again at $175 vs. my $173, and I am sure he is a authorized reseller also. The way I figure, he will walk away with a couple hundred in his pocket. Nothing wrong with that really as he saves people money.

With my price, there is a possability I can lose money, but that would only be a trivial cost compared to the money I save doing a group buy.

Anyway the choice is all yours, this either works or it dont.
