Another video from an islamic website

With all these videos on these "Islamic Websites" why is it so hard to find who is putting this info on the sites and inturn where they got the video from. There was an article months back that exposted some of these "Islamic websites" as actually being owned by people in the US.....If i hack www.cnn.com they have the tools to figure out who i am. If i upload a video of me killing someone they know how to figure out who i am. When are they going to do some investigating on exactly WHO is running these sites and where they are getting this footage from. They never even give us the name of the site! Is it the same site they are always talking about? The only site they specify is al-jezeera, is that because we can actually go to the web and verify that it exists? What are they doing to stope this problems of executions being showed on the internet.

I'd the sites are most likely run legitimately by people who aren't necessarily responsible for their content. An analogy would be whoever hosts hate sites in the US.

Its more complicated than just tracking down who runs the sites.

Better to have and maintain a contact point (however remote) into the terrorist world than none. It sometimes means letting some pretty unsavoury characters stick around, but...well, it's a "greater good" thing I guess.

Al Queda was and always will be a nobody on the landscape of world politics. The fact is that these people harbor hatred for us on par with just about every enemy of the United States. The ideology of this group prevents it from becoming anything but a mediocre cause, due partially to the idea that its membership is limited to miscreants and peasantry. The people pulling the strings are not replaceable, nor are they inherently powerful on the world scene. If the U.S. government intended to kill them off then they would have been dead long ago. The truth is whenever something truly shocks the current administration then something is immediatedly done to remedy the problem. This adminstration has the power to define its enemies and to dictate its own hurdles to overcast. Not a single enemy of the state is there that is not intentionally necessary to drive an agenda. As soon as the agenda for Al Queda expires then expect them to disappear rather abruptly.

Two decades from now expect to see the big picture dramatically different. By then the money trails will largely be divluged. Money is the carrot to these people. When the money dries up there will be a change.
