Another USPS question...can i pick up a package early in the morning?

Alrighty, i have a package that was sent yesterday at around 8 am. It didn't come today, so i figure it should come tomorrow, since i live in Los Angeles, and the package is coming from Northern Cali. I have to pick up some cables tomorrow, so if the package would be at the PO by tomorrow morning, around 10-ish, i figgured i might as well pick it up. Will it be there?

Nope. They have to deliver it unless you told them previously to hold your mail.

Damnit!! My mailman takes forever to deliver my mail now. That punk delivers at 5 pm, can't stand it. The old mailman used to get my mail here by 1!
