Have you completed middle school level grammar classes? I know google translate does better than this.

The scales doesnt fit reality. 😛

For example, Ivy would be a small plasmacutter and Bulldozer would be more like a large glowing hot steelplate.

The OP is from Greece 🙂 Maybe he didn't have English classes at school after all. Not everybody needs to know English perfectly. It is also his freedom to express himself any way he wants. If he prefers not to use Translate maybe it's fine that way, maybe he can express himself better.

Everybody's welcome here as long as I am concerned. Serbs, Greeks and Arabs on Anandtech, unite! 😀

well that was point
to take everything out of proposion
to make it abit funnier and easier to see the point

and i said makes look like an iceburg if you compare them
not that buldozer is a anything cool either lol

It really doesnt run hotter than SB until ~ 4.7Ghz. Heat is directly proportional to power they use since all power is converted to heat and only around there it starts using more power.

Don't confuse temp measurement with heat. It may have more localized temperature but does run cooler than SB or AMDs offerings.

My bloomy only runs at 65C maxed but I assure you it uses twice the power and produces twice the heat of a 4.1 Ghz ivy.

at least now you can bake your muffins while surfing the net

The number of people who have no concept of the difference between temperature and heat astounds me.

The danged thing can't heat anything up because what little heat it does generate is stuck on the flipping chip (which is why the temps are so high).

edit: but hey, keep making jokes that illustrate that lack of understanding I guess?

ohhh nooo intel pulls 300 watts less than an overclocked BD at 4.8ghz BUT it runs just as hot!!!

Just because the chip runs hot dosnt mean its gobbing power like AMDs cpus are.

and the heat sink will be just as cold as sandy,we just cant pull the heat off the cpu fast enough and the core temps will be higher.

I love the new trolls tho 🙂

Give the op a break, perhaps he was writing in poetic form...

Oh my ivy you're so hot
oh my ivy you could light my pot
oh my ivy you're so hot
oh my ivy lets smoke some pot

I dont get what people are complaining about, my 3570k runs @ 4.0ghz and is only 135F under full load. To me that isnt hot at all, you guys must have missed the prescott era where things REALLY got hot.

Machine name in Windows for a system running a Prescott core: SPACEHEATER.

Heh. You accessed its network shares at \\spaceheater 😱
