Day 1: UPS driver comes by when I'm not home, leaves a note. I've already signed about 3 package release notices in the past few months telling them to leave the packages at my apartment leasing office, but he must be a new guy. I sign it again and leave it outside my door.

Day 2: UPS guy comes again when I'm not home, leaves a 2nd note. This time it says, "Sorry, will not accept." WTF. I call the leasing office and they tell me they still accept packages, and that the driver hasn't even stopped by today. I call UPS and tell them I want them to hold the package so I can pick it up. They tell me they will hold the package so I can get it tomorrow.

Day 3: UPS doesn't hold the package, the driver comes again. This time the note says he left it with a neighbor. I don't even know her, and she's never home, so how could that be. I call UPS and bitch about it and they transfer me to a bored supervisor who says, "What do you want me to do about it? It shows as delivered." She says she'll leave the driver a note and that's it.

Ups wouldn't even hire me to load trucks, but would hire my drop out cousin. :| My ups guy is good with his deliveries though.

I would keep calling UPS until you get some results. That is complete bullsh1t. UPS doesn't have no problems leaving my packages in the leasing office. Same with FedEx and USPS.

UPS > FedEx, although I ship FedEx because it's cheaper. :)

If FedEx damages your package, they'll lie to you over the phone. They even say they'll come pick up the package for inspection and they never do.
