Now I have to wait another week for it to get here. Is there anything I can do to complain and get some kind of refund? my tracking summary errrrrrrrrrrrrrr

if you have the time, i'd recommend calling ups up everyday and complain
every single day
they'll get tired of it eventually and compensate you somehow
i hate ups with a passion because of their crap service
fedex for me

Be grateful that it's still showing up on a tracking list. Yesterday while driving to the store, husband and young daughter had to dodge a large box sitting in the middle of the highway near our house. They have no idea what was in it, but it was sealed and had UPS tracking labels all over it.

UPS lost my business permanently last month, after mis-delivering one of two packages to my next door neighbor (both houses have an address clearly marked, and neither of us was home at the time, so it wasn't just a case of leaving it with the next door neighbor), and delivering her package who-knows-where less than a week later. She also works for a local business that does a great deal of shipping business with UPS - needless to say, with the latest ammo, she's in the process of getting her boss to change to another carrier.

I had the exact same thing happen to me. I sent a package from
Ontario to South Dakota with a 5 day guarenteed delivery. It
somehow wound up in a distribution center in California, not for
a couple of days, but 2 weeks!!! I called UPS three times to
complain, they said they couldn't do anything, and I had to sit
back and watch as my package got re-scanned 5-6 times in
California. What should have been a 3 day delivery took 22 days.
My shipping fees were refunded and I haven't used them since.

Another problem with UPS is their brokering fees to move a package
through customs, which tends to be several times that of any other
mail carrier on the planet. I've had two occassions where the UPS
brokering fees were more than the worth of my package's contents.
