Hello all,

Well I have a couple questions here:

1) Are these timings hurting me?

Speed: 260 w/ 4x HT

CAS Lat: 3
RAS to CAS Delay: 3
RAS Precharge: 3
Cycle Time Tras: 4
Bank Cycle Time Trc: 22 (wtf?)
DRAM Idle Timer: 16

2) Would I benefit from the new dual core processor? (3800+ w/ OC'ing probably to 2.4 atleast)

- In games?
- Desktop "quickness"
- Overall performance in general?

Nah, you should probably save those 400 bucks and use it in 2 years or so when your system becomes outdated.
 
Ok, thanks for the input! And as for the memory timings? By the way, I'm a hardcore newb when it comes to memory timings 🙁
 
Running at 260HT, probably not. Have you tried 4X, rather than 3x, to get that HT up closer to (or in this case, over) 1GHz (2GHz)?
