Currently I work on wall street in compliance. I want to start to up my credentials to spice up my resume, attain a higher salary. I just graduated in may, and i've been working for 7 months. I want to get my MBA (at a school like NYU, etc. I don't wish to waste my time). My degree is in Management (concentration in IS), but I work in the finance world. I'm pretty sure 1 year is limited experience but I was wondering how early I can get into a good MBA program, and bang it out as quick as I possibly can.

Or if there's any other licenses/degrees/certs I can get/take. I can't get sponsered for the series 7 because I work for the company that administers the test.

Thanks!

Why don't you call and ask the school. It really depends on the school. My bet is that NYU will want more experience.

I am an MBA. I would strongly advise you to get atleast a couple of years of experience before you join a program. The experience you would gain through work would make you appreciate the courses in the program much better.
