why?

If it was a 16 yr old girl and a 31 yr old man people would be calling for his balls. why? just because the kid wanted it? i remember when i was 16 and i can tell you my GF at the time wanted it as bad and often as i did.

so why is it ok for a female teacher to abuse her power and trust but not ok for a male teacher? either the law needs to be equal or not at all.

Not to mention girls mature faster than boys so it's more likely to be rape for a young boy than it is for a young girl.

But alas that's not the way it is. Women are always treated as they're fragile and innocent and not capable of lying. They're always the victims.

So I should be allowed to go into womens restrooms without repercussions. It'd be sexist to have separate bathrooms, why force the ladies to use only restrooms marked for women and vice versa. And lets not forget this ladies nights at bars, could you get any more unfair?

Fail argument is fail!

No one wants to use the same bathroom as the opposite sex. Women are gross in the bathroom (lived with a non related female before)! Ladies night was ruled legal in court. Some places have men and ladies days for promotions. I guess we should take out the "women and minorities are encouraged to apply" since that's sexist and racist too.

it really wasn't that long ago that 12 - 14 year olds were being married off, especially in well off families. and it still happens in some areas of the world. The only difference is that our society views it different than it used to. And it wont be long before it changes again.

I know. Guys will be able to consent at 16-18, and women will not until they are married. That's what the shallow part of society considers appropriate. Hell a guy from SC still got elected senator after saying single women with children should not allowed to be teachers.

Oh, the slippery slope argument. LOL.

16 is legal in many states. 12 is not.

Kind of like gay marriage. "Next we will have to let people marry farm animals!"
