then you can link her backpage ad on here, since it's public.

Please... if it were that simple. Instead, someone on here will email or call her, say "hey this Stuxnet guy on the Intarwebs is spreading the word that you're going to be a teacher, but you're also a hooker, blah blah blah," and then the next two years will be very, very uncomfortable. I'm one of three guys out of 25 students, and I was the one sitting next to her. Not hard to figure out who I am from that point forward. I also would imagine that'd be worth an infraction.

In other words, fuck no. If you don't believe me, that's cool. Not that important to me. The point is, there are a LOT of unsavories teaching our children.

Reading class in the 11th grade?? I don't remember taking Reading much past Jr. High. I remember English in High School but Reading sounds a bit more of a fundamental class, was he special ed??

Also, TEACHER IN OP IS UGLY. ELBOWS ARE HIDEOUSLY POINTY, etc.

"Don't know if want"?

More like "don't know if being a moron on purpose or if just naturally that way".

She was using her maiden name, so either she's married or her husband died.

Kind of wondering about this... Are there any instances where any of the male kids in any of these cases were harmed in ANY WAY?

Aww... My own personal troll... Yay! Butt hurt much? The Internet bruise your ego a bit? Fret not, it will heal, son.

By the way, this is very common with graduate programs dealing in professions relating to public service... Teaching is certainly no exception. I scouted 4 programs and they all had this requirement. A no-brainier requirement.... For most of us :D

Of course - just like the other thread - if you had any real life experience on the matter, you'd already know that. And since you don't - just like the other thread - why are you talking?

Oh yeah... To troll.

I think part of the point is that you can't have a double-standard when it comes to male vs female. If a 25 year old male teacher was banging a 16 year old female student, people would want him locked up immediately.

You "can't", but everyone does anyway.

Also, in the cases where the 16yo was voluntarily banging the male teacher, I'm betting in many/most cases the girl wasn't harmed in any way either.

A no-brainer is that professionals don't even need to be told.

What kind of mindset and world view makes you think that it's a "no-brainer" that people need to swear not to be prostitutes?

Ah... Blissfully glossing over all the other things covered in a Statement of Good Moral Character and why teachers would be asked to sign such a thing. The only thing more amusing is that I'm somehow supposed to be defensive over a document that countless reputable M.Ed programs require of its applicants.

Come on, you're not really this stupid, are you? You want to have some pissing match over routine admissions documents? Take it up with just about every M.Ed program in the country, Sparky. It wasn't exactly my idea, so I'm not really sure there's a fight here for you to pick. You'll need to avenge your gaped ass with me some other time. Just keep your pretty little troll ears to the ground and maybe something else will come along.

And to everyone else who's wondering about the stick up this kid's butt, he has a teenie weenie (hehe) little grudge.
