I'll bite. What the hell WAS that poor thing, and what on God's green earth is it supposed to look like?

Looks like a Fierro, maybe a Trans Am. Those are Pontiac "bowling ball" hub caps, but 4 lug, whatever those go on. Fierro is mid engine, wheel base matches many exotics, etc. Makes it popular for many "kit car" rebodies. I really can't tell what it used to be, don't know if that is good or bad...
