another suggestion for a good paper topic??

i've posted this before... and many told me to do piracy... the professor told me that has been done way too many times.

basically, it has to be a current controversial topic that relates to computers in some way.
it's got to have a negative as well as a positive side... thus making it controversial.

any other suggestions?

i did one on the internet sales tax 2 years ago...not sure how popular it would be now?

you can do one on wireless networking, how it relates to security, and can tie in cell phones, they are computers these days

i guess i just argued for no internet sales tax after presenting both sides of the story...i.e., .com companies are located everywhere, its hard to figure out which state's tax to apply where....i.e. if i live in CT and purchase something in CA, but make the actual purchase in NY, what do you do? basically i said uncle sam wants as much of our $$ as possible, etc.
