so today i got my new power supply and vga silencer from newegg. i installed them and they worked perfect. i didn't know whether to use the artic silver 3 that i had or the silicon paste they gave me. i went with the AS3 in the end. i then didn't know if i put too little, lol. anyways, fast forward a little, i used ATI tool and did a quick overclock and found out my core is good to 450 and memory 370. i could push it a little more, but i already reached XT speed. i benchmarked at 412/365 (XT speeds) and got 6364 using catalyst 4.9. i then flashed from pro to XT and benchmarked again, but this time i used the latest omega drivers. my score was 6584.

cliff notes:
i got my power supply and vga silencer. installed them, they worked perfect. i flashed my radeon 9800 pro to XT. my 3dmark03 score went from 5914 to 6584.
