I'm near-sighted. When I take my glasses off, things that are far away are blurry, but I can see things that are close up.

If I stand real close to a mirror and take my glasses off, things that are reflected and are far away are still blurry. Why?

God doesn't like you and blurs your vision for things far away .... duh.

As spidey said, it's length/distance. The mirror doesn't bring anything closer to you, it just reflects items behind you. Your eyes are still the same distance (if not farther away) from the object you are trying to focus on.
