The owner is booked for murder - what do you think? Apparently the same store was robbed multiple times in the past few months, and in a previous robbery his wife got shot in the stomach. Will be a interesting case to prosecute.

Also, seems the clerk's and police stories diverge. The clerk says he was being attacked, police say it was just a verbal confrontation. As for the wannabe robber, what a shining beacon of humanity. Only 90 days for attempted kidnapping of a child? WTF?

The shoplifter shot and killed Friday was later identified as Jakeel Mason, 21, of Spanaway. Jail records identify the clerk as Min Sik Kim, 30.

Mason made headlines in 2014 when a he was accused of trying to kidnap a 6-year-old Parkland girl. In that case, the girl was walking home when she said two men "came out of nowhere and tried to grab her."

The little girl fought the men off and was able to get away, and police soon arrested Mason in connection to the crime. Court records show he was convicted of unlawful imprisonment and sentenced to 90 days in jail.

Remember, your time is worth nothing. This young man was undoubtedly in a rut due to bad family circumstances, and had great potential if given a little more time. Your own time? The hundreds or thousands of hours spent working for your living? Who cares, none of it is worth taking this wonderful, precious human life over.

It's hard to make a conclusion on this one way or another without seeing the evidence.

If self defense doesn't work, I think he would have a good PTSD argument to make after his wife was shoot only a month earlier.

I just don't feel bad for people who die committing crimes.
