Before you get the fake story from the news and police, I heard what really happened on twitter.
Basically, these two young men were pastors in the local church. They didn't know that yet, but they were going to be told that evening that they were the community leaders. On their way to court to defend a relative in a civil lawsuit (they study law in their part time at the local library) the police tried to pull them over. Problem is, they are both deaf and blind. The police pursued them and started shooting with m60's immediately. Both young men felt the rain of glass on them and they couldn't figure it out...so they kept on driving to the court house.
By the time they got there, one of the men jumped out of the car and rolled out a Twister mat because he ALWAYS plays Twister when he gets frustrated and scared. The police ordered him to put two hands on blue and a third hand on green. The poor man was so confused he didn't know what to do and accidentally put his hands on yellow.
Then the police snickered and slowly walked up to him with a catapult. They threw him onto the catapult and then launched him into a building filled with precious moments dolls. These were the special anniversary precious moments which were being sent to the Children's Hospital. After being crushed by futility...the police weren't done yet. While he laid dying with perfectly survivable injuries with no medical attention...the police showed him a picture of him from every yearbook from elementary through high school. They laughed at each photo and said something mean about him in each one.
Then they left him there for 23 days. 1 day for every time the poor victim saved a puppy from drowning in the Mississippi River.
Anyway, I'm sure we will find out the real truth as more develops.
