gah, I"m such a newb at this : \.

ok a child rolls a ball to another kid on a flat surface (distance is 4.5m) the ball made 15 revolutions, what is the diameter of the ball.

it gives the answer as 9.5 cm...help : (
 
thats not a physics question, that's a geometry question.

and do your own homework.

That's not physics, it's geometry. You know the total distance involved, you know the number of revolutions that the ball made, so can calculate the distance the ball travels in one revolution. That will be equal to the circumference of the ball. You should know the formula relating the circumference of a circle to its diameter. Solve for the diameter (or solve for the radius and double it).

we covered 2 chapters---rotational motion and equlibrium in 3 days : ( b/c we ran out of time and I"m sorta just freaking out : (.

This would be a real physics question if you included a spin rate that the ball had at the beginning, along with the co-efficient of friction between the ball and a the floor, and then had to figure out when the ball stopped spinning backwards and started rolling in a normal fashion.

-you'd need a little more info (I think, such as mass), but I'm not going to look at the equations to tell you what else you'd need
